A bit old-fashioned ambience but very good food - the fried potatoes were great and good fried potatoes (with bacon and onions) are an art that is rarely found. The vegetable plate with potato pancakes was also very good - crunchy vegetables, fresh mushrooms, and crispy, not too greasy potato pancakes. Very good and rich food. With very attentive wait staff. Have eaten here several times and had our wedding reception there yesterday. The guests were also very satisfied. Thanks again :)

Nicely located beer / vineyard. You have a beautiful view of the Rhine and Andernach under huge chestnut trees.

The beer garden is very nicely located, with a view of the nearby Rhine. Unfortunately - for whatever reason - there was only one waitress and one assistant with the hospitality busy with the many guests. My food, the "Heino" roast, was disappointing and the service was not very friendly. We won't go to the Leyschen Hof for the time being.

I have never eaten so bad by far. Just miserable. And the taste a disaster.

Ambience just beautiful. The service totally listless. I ate the sauerbraten, it was extremely tough and not nearly sour, but apparently forgot to put the roast in vinegar. The dumplings were tasteless and almost cold like the other food. Because of the ambience and for a beer again, I will eat at home or somewhere else in the future.

Very cozy nostalgic and typical German hotel restaurant with a large terrace on the banks of the Rhine. Very enjoyable stay. Friendly and helpful welcome. Tasty food in large portions for a reasonable price. Numerous sights in the area on both sides of the Rhine (ferries).

Very tasty as always. The kitchen is highly recommended and when the weather is good you can sit in the beer garden and watch the ships on the Rhine

Very quiet and idyllic right on the Rhine in historical surroundings. Old trees offer both fully shady places, but full sun is also possible if you want. The menu offers a choice for everyone, even small portions of the dishes can be adjusted on request. The lavish wine list only includes wines from local winemakers. But that's not a disadvantage, on the contrary, because there is something for every taste and the wines are excellent.

A highlight in Leutesdorf, located directly on the Rhine, is the Leyscher Hof to stop off at. A nice atmosphere, very friendly and courteous service. The inviting menu of various delicious dishes invites you to visit this place. Parking spaces are available and give the opportunity to fully enjoy the Rhine promenade.

At the start of the Rheinsteig hike, I was kindly allowed to use the toilets. I was so enthusiastic about the friendliness and the location that I definitely want to share a few pictures with you here. Such a great place! The restaurant is very comfortably furnished in the interior area and you feel immediately welcome. I found the toilets so cool retro that I also had to take a picture of them ??‍♀️??. And the outside area is the big hit. I will probably have to come back at some point just to have a drink.

If you sit outside, the view of the Rhine is wonderful. Except for the boss, the staff was very courteous and friendly! Jägerschnitzel for 14.80 euros with ready-made sauce and canned champions. I could puke. My advice: Enjoy the view with an apple spritzer and eat somewhere else. EVERYTHING there is finished product!

Cake and coffee tasted delicious. Unfortunately, the tables were very slanted, which would lead to the fact that if you had a lump on your plate, it would roll away.

As guests in the outside area, we had a good view ... we wonder how you can serve your guests dishes that taste the hunter's sauce, like in a bad chip shop (definitely from the big bucket) and the fish on the other plate was smothered with a fat hollandaise (also from the bucket). It can be served like this ... is it so time-consuming to serve a delicious sauce and let the actual dish work? Overall, the service was too slow and inattentive for us - after 20 minutes we asked if we could have the menu, after 1.5 hours we asked when the food was coming. ... "you have just occupied two tables in the restaurant" ... - well ... there is another way.

Beautiful garden right on the Rhine under large, old chestnuts. Even in Corona times.

One of the cosiest stay in my life. High class food smiley faces and class wines from the village. Thanks Carla for the hospitality. I believe everyone should try this place when you're around this location. Also there is a wonderful Rheingarten where you can enjoy the beauty of the landscape.

Well worth a visit. Mrs. Carla runs this delightful inn. Where once composers and greats from the region have dined, you can eat traditional food. In the historic walls one feels relocated some 100 years back. Those who have one or two beers can sleep in one of the simply kept rooms and are provided with a decent breakfast.

Good German kitchen, at the rhine river. We had to sit in a side room which was quite small (there was no space in the main room). Prices are OK

Fantastic local food and wine. Beautiful setting and biergarten along the Rhein.
